Patrick Beverley, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers, has reportedly caught the eye of Hapoel Tel Aviv, an Israeli basketball outfit, as indicated by Sportando.
Beverley, who wrapped up the 2024 season with the Milwaukee Bucks after starting with the Philadelphia 76ers, is currently exploring his options as a free agent. His NBA journey spans over a decade with stints at the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Chicago Bulls.
Renowned for his defensive prowess, Beverley earned All-NBA Defensive first-team honors earlier in his career. During his tenure with the Lakers in the 2022-23 season, he averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. Throughout his NBA career, he has maintained averages of 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
Before his NBA career, Beverley played overseas following an NCAA issue during his time at Arkansas. He was initially drafted by the Lakers in 2009 but embarked on an international journey with stops at B.C. Dnipro, Olympiacos Piraeus, and Spartak St. Petersburg.
Now contemplating a return to international play, Beverley could potentially join Hapoel Tel Aviv, a significant contender in Israel’s top-tier basketball league.
